Jefferson Davis Parish Community Alert System
JDEPAlert is administered by the Jefferson Davis Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness. This service lets you sign up to receive emergency and public awareness alerts, examples include:
instructions on where to go
what to do (or not do)
who to contact during a major incident
news releases
weather alerts, public meetings, school closings, voter registration reminders
There is no cost to sign up, although your wireless provider may charge you to receive e-mail or text messages on your mobile device. If you already use e-mail or text messaging, JDEPAlert messages will work the same way. Contact your wireless provider if you have any questions about the fees they may charge.
